Telly

So I was on the telly tonight. I looked like a right tit! It reminds me of the review in The Times when it came out. This idiot TV reviewer called me - in a new low in my life - "a gentle Sloane".

Cool doggie though!

Ah, and for the sake of your American readers, just what is a "Sloane," gentle or not? ? ? Z

Like a sort of posh idiot. A toff. One of our stupid aristocracy. Essentially, the sort of braying idiots who like to go to Henley and say 'Mummy' and 'Daddy' when they are 34 and 'supper' or even 'sup sups' instead of dinner.

Does that help, Z?

They also wear jumpers (sweaters) slung over their shoulders.

I didn't see it Rob, but when you say "cool doggie", can you please confirm, for all of our sakes, that you're talking about the dog.

No, this is my new way of signing off from conversations, blog posts, e-mails, formal letters to the aristocracy etc.

Cool doggie.

Helps...but not a lot. Toff? Henley? Aristocracy? And I kind of think "sups" is cute!! And I like that photo of you. I guess this is just one of those "two countries separated by a common language" thing because I don't really get why your knickers are in such a bunch!! ;) Z

The 'cute' word - time to start anti-flirting Rob.

I love you all like I love erogenous forms of vegetable.

Cool doggie!
