I bought a lamp that gets turned on by my touch. Not like that. It actually lights up when I touch it. Oh, stop it.
I have been experimenting with other materials and the only other thing that turns my lamp on is banana skin.
I therefore conclude either:
1. That banana skins are real skin; or
2. We are all made of real bananas
Thank you.

Or that the banana skin creates a connection between you and the lamp.
Have you ever stuffed your head into a box of bananas? Very warm - which is why it's a good idea to keep bananas away from other fruit - stop them being a bad influence on the apples, etc.
If bananas were people, they'd get ASBOs.
Forgot to add that bananas have a 50% match with human DNA - maybe that's what causes the lamp to light up...
